Water & Waste Water Treatment Projects

ATCCO has executed landmark environmental projects, including major wastewater and water treatment plants across Jordan. From the South Amman WWTP to the Wadi Ma’in Zara Mujib desalination and conveyance system, our works enhance water quality, expand treatment capabilities, and promote sustainable resource management, showcasing our dedication to environmental stewardship and innovation.

Major Environmental Projects

South Amman WWTP and Trunk Line

We contributed to the expansion and enhancement of the South Amman Wastewater Treatment Plant and Trunk Line, a project under our clients The Ministry of Water and Irrigation and KOLON, with consultancy provided by Engicon. This initiative expanded the plant's capacity to 52,000 m³/day, emphasizing our strength in executing large-scale infrastructure projects that support urban growth and environmental sustainability.

Rehabilitation & Expansion of North Aqaba WWTP

We proudly took part in the Rehabilitation & Expansion of the North Aqaba Wastewater Treatment Plant, serving as the main contractor for a DBO project alongside the Aqaba Water Company and consultants Arabtech Jardaneh/CDM. This significant project expanded the plant's capacity to 28,000 m³/day, demonstrating our capability in enhancing and scaling vital wastewater management infrastructures.

Wadi Ma’in Zara Mujib Water Treatment Plant & Conveyance Pipeline

Our company was pivotal in executing the civil works for the Zara Ma'in Water Treatment Plant, collaborating with the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and the JV of Morganti & Infilco, with the consultants Black & Veatch International. This project highlights our expertise in constructing vital infrastructure that ensures the provision of clean, safe water, reflecting our commitment to enhancing public health and environmental standards.

Samara Waste Water Treatment Plant

For the Samra Wastewater Treatment Plant project, we partnered with The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/As-Samra WWTP/Morganti, consultants for the project were under JECO Consult and FICHTNER. Our role involved the construction of the Civil and Infrastructure Works Package-1, focusing specifically on the water line. This essential component underlines our technical prowess and commitment to developing critical infrastructure that ensures reliable water services.

Madaba WasteWater Treatment Plant

ATCCO executed the civil and MEP works for the Madaba Wastewater Treatment Plant, developed by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation in partnership with KOLON, and supervised by Sigma. The project enhanced regional wastewater treatment capacity and contributed to more efficient, sustainable environmental infrastructure for the Madaba area.

Wadi Hassan Waste Water Treatment Plant

ATCCO executed the civil and MEP works for the Wadi Hassan Wastewater Treatment Plant, with the Ministry of Water and Irrigation serving as both client and consultant. The project strengthened wastewater treatment capacity in the region, supporting improved environmental management and long-term infrastructure reliability.

Wadi Al-Arab WasteWater Treatment Plant

ATCCO executed major works for the Wadi Al-Arab Wastewater Treatment Plant, developed by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation with Sigma, DAR, and RRI as consultants. Designed with a capacity of 25,000 m³/day, the project enhanced regional wastewater treatment efficiency and supported long-term environmental sustainability in northern Jordan.
